He doesn't have Redliner, so I can't check for now, but the basis of summing the values for every "limb" and then dividing by their number stands. I'll quickly grab the sheet of a character with all four replaced and edit this message if I'm still able. There should also be four where you only count actual limbs (two legs, two arms) - this greatly favours FLR sams, but it's not very realistic for sneaking or gymnastics. Six in your example is counting the head. I add all the values of each "limb", say, 6(9) on each of the four limbs I replaced, plus, say, 6 on the torso, and then I divide the sum by five. For example, the default system is five limbs: two legs, two arms and the torso. I don't have access to the computer right now and I likely won't have as thunderstorms are menacing the area, but in a nutshell, the number of limbs dictates how you average the AGI and STR. One could say that that should than be the case when one averages the stats, but like I said, its not crystal clear. They are saying that torso/head dont have stats and that they are not taken into account for the physical limit. But I am biased.Įdit2: The german Chrome Flesh seems to imply that you only take the 4 real limbs into account, but I wouldnt call that clear RAW. I thought I knew how this works, but chummer and herolab seem to make it different and the rules are.shadowrun 5e.Įdit: Is there any hint on Intent regarding the amount of limbs one should count for averaging? For me 5 seems kind of logical, although 4 could be possible too, 6 seems wrong. With STR3, REA 2, BOD 5, that should be 4 (mathematically rounded) or, with STR 3(6), REA 2(4), BOD 5, its 7 if we use the german Chrome Flesh, right?
Whats my pool for something done with the whole body, like sneaking? Strangely the tooltip from chummer differs a litte: (sneaking + AGI (7) left obvious full arm (12) right obvious full arm 14). That should be 15 dice for firing a longarm(5), right? Herolabs on the other hand just gives a 12 for Agi here. Whats my pool for something done only with the arms or legs, like firing a shotgun? Chummer says something like (longarms + AGI (7) left obvious full arm (13) right obvious full arm 15) in its tooltip, which I dont really understand. Lets say I got 2 of these arms and 2 legs (although the legs are 2 agi less) Redliner adds another 2 to that arm and changes natural agi to 2 (4). So, I am not sure how cyberlimbs and redliner really works, and I think chummer got it wrong.Ī cyberarm with customized agi 6 does have 6 agi, which is the limit without enhanced agi? Sadly our nova hot community isn't the best place to discuss the mechanics discussion or troubleshooting the video games. Mostly the pen and paper role playing game, but also the deck building card game, video games, and literature of Shadowrun. Discussion is primarily aimed at exploring narratives found in the Sixth World. Here at /r/Shadowrun we talk shop about all things in the shadows.
